Raqeebah Oloko
Executive Secretary
Raqeebah Oloko is the founder and Managing Director of Bromshy Communications Limited. In 2012, she had her LLB in law at the University of Ilorin before proceeding on her one year mandatory NYSC in 2013 after which she proceeded to the law school for her B.L in 2014.
Her professional background started in 2005 when she went for her internship as a mass communications student with City people Magazine where she was retained as a freelance writer. This she did alongside her studies both at the polytechnic and later at the University.
She resigned from her freelance job in 2007 to focus her attention on building her company. Raqeebah has also worked in other communications outfit like Super screen television, Xiglar communications and Cleopatra to mention a few.
Fortune Toma
Research and Correspondence Officer
Fortune is a young energy sustainability advocate with a developing career along Nigeria’s and Africa’s energy landscape. Inspired by Africa’s looming energy poverty situation, he is determined to contribute meaningfully to the African SDG7 campaign. This is despite and especially amidst calls for transition to globally favoured cleaner sources of energy – he ardently propagates the gospel of #gas as the transition fuel of choice for Africa.
As a social change reformer and young impact leader in the Nigerian and African energy space, Fortune understands the place of dialogue and proactive advocacy in Africa’s journey to achieving energy security and sufficiency. Hence his eagerness to contribute directly to conversations around energy policy, funding, R&D, technology and more – that assists his mission to make energy poverty in Africa a thing of the history books.
Fortune is currently a policy and legislative attorney with the National Assembly of Nigeria, as well as a regulatory support lawyer with Nigeria’s Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) – where he contributes his two cents to the Authority’s legal compliance, transactional and regulatory oversight roles for players across the Nigerian midstream and downstream oil and gas market.
When he’s not on the SDG7 train, he is a corporate/ commercial lawyer with experiences in general corporate compliance, energy economics, project finance, intellectual and real property, data protection and IT, disputes resolution, and general corporate governance amongst others.
He leads the Research and Correspondence team of the Network.

Meet Faith-Oyis, a nature lover, adventure enthusiast, and old-school aficionado. She is an ambitious and goal-oriented law student, driven by her passion for progress and making a positive impact. Faith-Oyis is on a journey to become an official practicing lawyer while focusing on achieving results and honing her legal skills.
As a diligent law student, she actively engages in legal research, drafting, and briefing of cases. Her commitment to excellence and attention to detail ensure that she produces high-quality work. Faith-Oyis is dedicated to mastering the intricacies of the law and applying her knowledge to real-world scenarios.
With a strong interest in energy, humanitarian, criminal, technology, and climate matters, Faith-Oyis is passionate about using her legal expertise to address pressing issues in these areas. She seeks to make a meaningful difference and contribute to positive change through her future legal career, advocating for justice and sustainability.
In addition to her academic pursuits, Faith-Oyis also serves as a content researcher, developer, and controller for the Network’s social media accounts. Through this role, she leverages her communication skills and legal knowledge to curate engaging content and manage the organization’s online presence. She also contributes as a co-host for the Network’s events, showcasing her vibrant energy and ability to connect with diverse audiences.
Faith-Oyis possesses a diverse skill set that includes proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for effective document management. She also has experience in graphic design, utilizing Corel Draw to create visually appealing designs. Her ability to manage multiple tasks and stay organized ensures that she excels in both her academic and extracurricular endeavors.
